Services: Exhibit Development to Fabrication

Now owned by Minnesota Children’s Museum, Framed: Step Into Art is a KidZibits-created traveling exhibit that transforms the works of well-known painters into interactive environments. Stepping into the paintings, children make a very real and personal connection to the artists and their art. Among other activities, kids prepare a seasonal meal in Grant Wood’s “Dinner for Threshers,” explore a turn-of-the-century campsite in John Singer Sargent’s “Camp at Lake O’Hara,” and ride a giant chicken in Clementine Hunter’s “Big Chicken.”

The development and design of Framed is based upon Visual Thinking Strategies by VUE and supports the National Standards for Arts Education for K through 4th grade.
